Every two subjects is one subject ~flex's thoughts on Abraham Hicks' teachings.

Hello,

Every subjects is two subjects, what is wanted and the lack of it. Therefore we can also say that every two subjects is really one subject. Why is this important? It is important because when one is thinking about a subject 'outside' of the Vortex, there is a tendency to try and quickly think about something that you think is inside the Vortex. There is an almost panic to try and counteract the seeming negative place you are in.

What's wrong with that? Isn't that what deliberate creation is, changing your focus?

In a way, yes, but in fact it is more to do with simply focusing, and not the need to change your focus. By frantically trying to change your mindset to inside the Vortex, you are giving credence to the thought that you are outside of the Vortex in the first place. As well being is the only thing that flows, perhaps all we need to do is focus more into that well being, to realise more that we are already a part of it.

Ok all of the above may seem a bit fiddly, so allow me to put it into a real world scenario:

You are in the Vortex, feeling fine and dandy. You think about something that is 'outside the vortex'. Maybe it is a relationship with another that you are finding difficult, or something else. Your first instinct may be to change your focus to something that is 'inside the Vortex', like a fluffy kitten if that's your thing, hehe. However hang on a minute! Why did you have to change your focus at all? You were already in the Vortex weren't you. Yes but I focused on something that was 'outside the vortex' so I had to get back in! I hear you cry.

Remember though, every subject is two subjects, and therefore every two subjects is really one subject. This means that the subject of 'a difficult relationship with a particular person' is also the same subject as 'I get on really well with that person'.

Ok, so when I think about that person I have difficulty dealing with, that's not an 'out of the Vortex' thought?
No, because you are in the Vortex to begin with. Well can't that thought eventually take me out of the Vortex if I dwell on it? Yes it can (to a degree), however if you are mainly in the Vortex (and as well being is the only thing that flows, I don't see why you wouldn't be!) then why would you think that the 'out of the vortex' part of the subject would have so much power over you.

What I'm trying to get at is that we need to start thinking about any subjects when we're 'inside the Vortex' and to know that it doesn't matter how we currently perceive those subjects (as possibly 'outside the vortex'), but instead know that we spend the vast majority of our time 'inside the Vortex' (well being is the only thing that flows) and so that hugely great influence can easily transform any subject to only be perceived from it's 'inside the Vortex' perspective.

One can only be 'bold' lol enough to look at any subject when one has this understanding.

The world isn't 'good or bad'. The world doesn't need changing. It is all good. The 'inside the Vortex' perspective of a subject is simply our personal preference, and without the 'outside the Vortex' perspective, how would we ever know what we wanted. This is why, despite knowing that well being is the only thing that flows, it is also vitally important to acknowledge and appreciate everything that is 'outside the Vortex', not simply because it let's us know what we do want, but because it is equally the essence of what we do want, and we never hesitate to appreciate what we prefer, do we ;)

It is all one subject.

Thanks! :D
